fess chequy azure and argent between three cross
crosslets fitchee in chief and as many cushions in base
gules, all within a bordure engrailed of the second
(Stewart of Drummin). Mantling azure, doubled or.
Crest—On a wreath of his liveries, two hands holding a
heart proper. Mottoes—“ Corde et manu ” (above the
crest); “ Dinna forget ” (below the arms). Livery—
Dark blue cloth coat, with scarlet facings, cuffs and
collar.

surmounted of a bend invected sable, charged with three
cross crosslets fitchee of the third, in dexter chi^f point a
canton gyronny of eight of the first and fourth. Mantling
azure, doubled or. Crest—On a wreath of his liveries, a
demi-lion rampant gules, armed and langued azure. Motto
—1 ‘ Sequamur leonem.” Livery- Blue, with yellow facings.
