We rejoice that Olivia Chase is back home after
her long stay at Eastern State Hospital. We’re so
glad you’re back at the regular routine, Olivia, and
we are looking forward to seeing you at Homecoming
as you promised in your letter. Evelyn Phillips Forrest
lives at Odd, York County, Virginia. She has one
daughter, Marylin, who’s happily married. Evelyn
teaches music in one of the schools in Odd. Julia
Head lives in Staunton, with her mother and aunt. She
is working in the largest millinery store in the Valley
and enjoys her work very much. Julia takes an active
part in church work and attends church camps quite
often.
Nellie Wine (Mrs. George Brand) lives at College
Park, Staunton, where her husband is a furniture dealer. Leonora Freeman (Mrs. John Gillespie) is living
in Odd, Virginia. She has five children. We’re sorry
to hear that she has been in poor health lately. Fannie
Sue Parrott (Mrs. Orlan Deale) lives in Bera, Virginia,
with her four grown children. Ruth Womom was recently married and lives at Poquoson, York County,
Virginia. She teaches school there.
