Ordered, That all sums of money which may be subscribed or contributed by individuals to promote the objects of any of the said appropriations, and which form no part of the estimated income of the city, shall be credited to such appropriations accordingly, and be strictly applied according to the intention of the contributors.

Ordered, That the several officers and boards of the city in charge of departments, under the general supervision and control of His Honor the Mayor, expend the said appropriations made for their several departments, and the persons or boards authorized by law to expend the other appropriations, expend the same all in accordance with the laws and ordinances.

Ordered, That the appropriations made for the Water-Supply and WaterIncome departments connected with the Sudbury and Cochituate supplies be paid from the income received from the said supplies, and that the appropriations made for said departments, connected with the Mystic supply, be paid from the income received from said supply.
