Touched by the etory of Mrs. George
Moran of Waukegan, who aided her husband in burglaries, it is said merely to
feod the mouths of her suffering babes,
Judge Donnelly, Monday morning, freed
Mrs. Moran of the charges hanging ever
her.
She Is now at the home of her mother
and after a short visit there will gq^to Lake
Bluff to make her home with Mrs. Fowler,
who has offered her a new life, to be lived
for her children alone.
Mrs. Moran, indicted with her husband,
George Moran, on the charge or having
committed robbery, was released by Judge
Donnelly upon her own recognizance after
the court had takon the matter under advisement for the lost two weeks.
The court stated at the time the prisoners were arraigned at the opening of court,
that be personally haled to send the young
mother to jail more because he hated to
blot the histories of her children more than
anything else, and was of the opinion that
it would never do her any good as she did
not appear a criminal at heart.
