by male descent, granted 3 Nov. 1773) ; 3. the same arms of
Jervis as a quartering by inheritance (Vn. Staffs. 1664) 14. per
chevron sable and argent, in chief three leopards’ faces or
(Swynlen ot Swynfen); 5. azure, crusily or, two organ pipes
chev, onwise of the last (Pipe). Mantling sable and argent.
Crest—Out of a naval crown or, encircled by an oak-wreath
proper, a demi-pegasus argent, wings azure, thereon a fleur-
de-lys or. Motto—“Thus."

arrows, two in saltire and one in fesse gules, flighted proper.
