There have been three cases of diphtheria successfully attended to as above; the same necessitating; the disinfection of two family houses, and two schoolhouses, and requiring the suspension of the schools a few weeks. Formaldehyde, has also been used, by request and advisedly, in the purification of dwellings where cancer and other diseases have prevailed.

We have noticed twenty-six cases of measles, the past year, in mild form, recovei’ed.
